The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) announced today the regular season will be extended by a week due to COVID- and weather-related match postponements. The regular season now will end the weekend of October 21 with playoffs the weekends of October 28 and November 4. The championship match date set for the weekend of November 11 is unchanged.

“This is not by design,” says NISA VP of Operations Ron Gilmore. “Rather, we must do this to ensure all regular season matches are played due to sporting integrity. We’ve had four matches postponed this season due to weather and two due to COVID.”
